Impressive, but too much data. A filter for capitals and/or major cities/ geographic features would be helpful, but then as it\'s free, I can\'t complain. Thanks

I tried your GeMaker software.I like it and it's very easy of use. my question is : I tested it on "France" and found a lot of dupllicated cities (like "Villard") even in the same region with the same lat-long. In Google maps there is only one city called "Villard" and non of your lat-long match Google. can you explain it to me or am i doing something wrong. Thank's for a great software,Igal.

Seems a little unstable, it just stopped working for me. But all it needs is a restart, and it does what it says on the tin!The database that it queries seems to carry many duplicates, not the fault of GeoMaker of course. I like the fact that you can see where it is up to, and hear it working as well!

Why can I not access the US cities.

First Time User I was looking for general data for cities, towns and villages in France so when I found Geomaker I was very pleased. Downloaded without a hitch. The application was very easy to understand and use. Downloaded the data for France which took an absolute age, left it overnight and voila in the morning all there in a text file. Loaded file into Excel and found it was too big, split the file and loaded first half with ease. Sorting the data highlighted the first problem, a lot of the data is duplicated. I assume this is from the query process ...
